- Use printers with a manual feed slot.
- For use on all domestic or professional Inkjet Printers. Not to be used with Laser Printers.
- Large format plotters and Samsung printers can be less compatible.
- In printer setting, set paper/media type in thick paper as 'heavy glossy paper', 'label paper' or similar and set print setting in highest for best resolution print.
Coating (Inkjet Only)
Although Laser printer toner is water-resistant, Inkjet is inherently not. For this reason, Inkjet Waterslide Decal Paper requires a clear coat as mentioned in the instructions (purchased separately) to prevent ink from dissolving in water.
All coating sprays have different properties - they may or may not be food-safe or dishwasher-safe, but make sure it is water-resistant.
We stongly recommend Krylon Crystal Clear. Avoid oil based clear coats. Try to use fast drying sprays to allow drying between coats.
If applying to curved surfaces, you may need to dry the clear coat with the decal bent into it's final shape, or opt for our Laser Waterslide Decal Paper which is far thinner, malleable, and no coating is required.
Material
Urethane Soft type decal. Slight elasticity and easy to work with. No yellowing over time, highly resistant to heat and applicable in various surface types including curved. For material in acrylic (hard type), see our Acrylic Laser Waterslide Decal Paper.
Washing
The acrylic sealant you use will determine how you can clean the surface. These instructions apply to the Decal Paper itself:
- Wash gently with cold water. Use a soft sponge.
- Do not leave in hot water for long.
- Do not wash with flammable thinner, rubbing alcohol or acetone.

Storage & Shelf Life
- Store in a dry, cool condition, away from direct contact with moisture.
- Recommended shelf life of the paper and the printed paper is 1 year but can be longer if in a good and usable condition.
