- Use printers with a manual feed slot.
- Under printer setting, set media type as 'label paper' or 'heavy glossy paper'.
- Choose the "high resolution" and high "dpi" settings.
For laser printer
- Use printers with a manual feed slot.
- Large format plotters and Samsung printers tend to be less compatible. Avoid laser printers with solid ink. (eg, some models of Fuji Xerox and Cannon.) - in this instance contact us for best solution.

- Choose the "high resolution" and high "dpi" settings.
- Compared to the inkjet, the film is thinner and looks more realistic.
For best results we recommend experimenting with the opacity of your images to create a "natural tattoo fade".
Tips
Consider these steps to achieve most realistic results:
- Lower the opacity of your images. Gives the illusion of a natural tattoo fade. Full opacity looks like the ink is on the skin, lower opacity is better.
- Use baby powder to mattify the tattoo and improve color.
Washing
- Do not leave in hot water for long.
- Avoid scrubbing the decal.
- Do not wash with flammable thinner, rubbing alcohol or acetone.
To remove the Tattoo use baby oil or body oil after a warm shower.
Storage & Shelf Life
- Store in a dry, cool condition, away from direct contact with moisture to avoid weakening the adhesive.
- Recommended shelf life of the paper and the printed paper is 1 year but can be longer if in a good and usable condition.

How Temporary Tattoo Paper works
Tips
Laser printer version is almost half the thickness of the Inkjet version. We were able to do this because Laser Toner has water resistant properties. This allows for creating much thinner temporary tattoos. However, Laser Toner is naturally prone to cracking unlike Inkjet, which is mainly noticeable on black tattoos. We recommend the Laser version if you have access to a Laser printer, but customers have equally impressive results with both.
For best results; we recommend the following:
- Editing in CMYK mode, for more accurate Reds and Purples when printing.
- Lower the opacity of the images to create a faded tattoo appearance.
- Cut close to the edge. This produces nicer results and may have a more durable edge.
- After applying, when dry, use baby powder to mattify the tattoo.
